Johanna Fangmeyer, has been a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner since 2001, where she has shared her enduring love for nursing and the ever-evolving field Dermatology. With the rapid growth of social media, medical aesthetics has exploded in popularity. Johanna has experienced these changes first-hand and understands the challenges newcomers may face in the industry. With extensive experience training nurses and MDs in dermal fillers and the art of “tox,” she aims to guide even more professionals and help them grow in their own Dermatology journeys. Her mission is to make learners feel comfortable, confident, and ecstatic after attending her training workshops. Johanna encourages continuous self-improvement and strives to help others become successful in their own careers.

Hello. Hola. Bonjour!

Sorry, I am bilingual in English and Spanish, and I don’t even know a lick of French – but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t love to learn!  

I am Johanna Fangmeyer and have been a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner since 2001! I can’t believe I have been a nurse for this long, but what I can tell you is that I have absolutely loved every second of it. At times I’ve wondered what I’m doing in this ever-evolving industry- it is challenging at times and can really test your boundaries but I have great fulfillment in my work. It’s crazy that with the evolution of social media, medical aesthetics has really grown to fame! Everybody wants to get into this industry and it can be scary if you are newer to this field. It doesn’t have to be so frightening, but at the same time fear can be a good thing as it will motivate you to be the best you can possibly be!

As a certified nurse practitioner in Dermatology, I have trained hundreds of nurses and MDs in the art of Dermal Filler, Botox Injections (2003-2007), Laser Treatment (2004-2007), and have worked for several different dermatologists and plastic surgeons since 2001 before opening my own Dermatology practice in 2013. I have seen and experienced quite a bit in my time, and am very eager to share with you my stories as I guide you to pave your own path.

I am so excited to help you learn new skills patiently and gently as you navigate your professional journey to become a great medical aesthetic provider, and of course, injector! My mission is to help you feel as comfortable as you can be with these sets of skills to help you reach your career and personal goals. My hope is that you will leave feeling energized, confident, and ecstatic after finishing one of our training workshops.
